I've been learning java using MOOC alongside NetBeans with the TMC plugin on my mac, however my laptop gets quite hot and the fans start spinning like crazy when I'm just editing code, not even running anything. I googled a little and it seems like an old issue that hasn't been solved yet. So my question is if there is any better/lighter IDE for macOS that is compatible with the TMC plugin? Or is it an expected behaviour for any Java IDE?
