Amiga Emulator Mac Ppc

Has seen a lot of lately. Firstly, Joe Fenton has been able to run AROS PPC on his iMac using Fedora Core 4. Joe and Markuss Weiss are working hard on them, in order to give us a PPC version of AROS. Best backup for macs Secondly, Bernd Roesch has compiled an AmigaOS-68k hosted version of AROS called (AROS for AmigaOS): “AfA OS is a way to use AROS source without changes and compile them on every AmigaOS based operating system. It can run and be build hosted on every AmigaOS compatible system and provides a compatible API to all systems.”. The purpose of AROS on 68K, to many AROS fans, is to have an open source solution to the possiblity of running older AmigaOS software on the new machines.

FUSION can run Mac OS 7.0.1 to 8.1 within its emulated Macintosh. Microcode developed “Fusion,” a software-only (no costly hardware required) Macintosh emulator for the Amiga system. Fusion was ported to x86 (PC) architecture and released as “Fusion-PC” in July of 1998. Microcode Solutions released “iFusion.

Right now we have the excellent and open-sourced E-UAE, as an emulator, and we can buy the (closed source) Amiga ROMs from Cloanto. AROS has the potential to be more than just a hobby OS, it can (and will) be an upgrade for AmigaOS fans and users. Certainly it’s already a license upgrade, as well as being a port to modern hardware so that a hardware upgrade is possible, but in time it will become an effective functional upgrade as well. To do this fully it needs to be able to run older Amiga software as well as new. So, clearly, you must start with a 68K port of the OS. All i will say is, Yes the drawing is interesting, but the comments on enyclopedia dramatica is more akin to “jocks” or the “poser”.

Think of it like this, everythign thats new and wierd, is made fun of. Google maps app for mac os x. However it becomes common place. Dont think so? Look around you, your sitting infront of a computer. This, my friends, is the result of *gasp* something different and weird.

That $23,000 car you do donuts with in the parking lot? In teh 1800 it was strange and weird, and they actually made laws against it. Those things you see in the sky, ya know airplanes? That also was thought of as weird and new. But lets get on more Trivial things. Anime, 20 yrs ago it was made fun of due to the bad dubbing.

But now there are anime that rival alot of live actions. Dont beleive me? Watch Beserker then talk to me. Everyone’s favorite looney toons? Or perhaps even disney? Made fun of and disliked. Also, this currnet fad of “ricing” ((putting body kits on cars that serve no purpose, putting huge wingsonthe Back of a frontwheedrive car, neons ect ect)) cars, everyone finds it cool.

Amiga

Unfortunatly for all the Ones who decide that “furries” are horrible, or gay or stupid. Look around, everything you put your hands on at one time or another was thought of as stupid.

By the way, Just to clue you in. Not all furries dress up and hump each other, just like not all jocks are raging Queers. Joe Fenton is a WONDERFUL programmer, having worked on such projects as FusionPC and FusionPPC. He has intricate knowledge of Macintosh Hardware internals that will serve the AROS project well. And he has proven he can deliver good commercial-grade code. I would LOVE to be able to run AROS on some of my Older Macs that are underpowered for Panther or Tiger.
