If the VS Code repository was installed correctly, then your system package manager should handle auto-updating in the same way as other packages on the system. Is it possible to install NuGet on a Mac? It seems like the only way to do it is to install the NuGet Package Manager Console. However, after downloading NuGet, I try to click on nuget.exe. Visual Studio Code for Mac IntelliSense “Console” not working.

After several hours I thought I’d check the /etc/hosts even though I knew it hadn’t been touched since. Long and behold, the newly added domain wasn’t there so what happened? Well, I did that and it worked but the next day it stopped working.
