So this is out now, but I am not seeing it. I am updated to Fast Release 15.36. I remember having to click around a bit to get it to show on the.

I have 557 contacts in Exchange yet only 512 of them are syncing to Outlook 2016 for MAC. I recreated each of the 45 missing contacts through Outlook 2013 for Windows, including the contact photos. 37 of the missing contacts synced into Outlook 2016 for Mac WITHOUT the contact photos. 8 of the contacts did not sync at all. The difference between the 8 and the 37 is that the 8 users had uploaded contact photos through OWA. Although I replaced them on them on my client created contact, they still did not sync. After I had the 37 contacts re-synced without their photos, I removed and re-added the account to Outlook 2016 for Mac in an effort to get them to sync completely The 37 contacts that synced WITHOUT photos AFTER they were recreated FAILED to sync after the account was removed and re-added.

Of course, the 8 contacts that never synced due to photos in their OWA account did not sync either. After recreating one of the contacts that was previously re-created and did sync before the account was removed and re-added, it did sync the contact without the photo.

So now, after removing and re-adding the account, I am back in the same boat. Also, Outlook 2013 for Windows and Contacts.app on Mac are in sync. Hi, Based on my research, this seems to be a known issue. Hope it could be fixed in next Office for Mac release.
