Best Foundation I ever tried, and I tried a lot of Highend Foundations or even Drugstore, but this works so wonderful for my skin, I have some very dry parts of my face but also parts of my face which tend to get shiny throughout the day like my cheeks or forehead, this foundation really stays in place and works so well for me, when I first tried it I wondered the whole day that I don't need to use a powder every three hours. The foundation is lightweight and don't give you that feeling like you have half of a ton of make up on your face, it just looks so natural and gives you that perfect finish! With the pump from MAC you can really get a small amount of foundation without taking to much and wasting product. Highly recommend!! I wear NC42 and this foundation was my first medium to full coverage foundation. It lasts me a unbelievably long time on my dry skin and i dont think that it empahsizes dry patches.

I often experiment with new products but i always come back to this foundation. I love it, this is my holy grail foundation for 1 year now.

It has a natural matte finish and will dry down. It has a strong smell, but i love the smell when i buy a new foundation. But it can pe a bit too harsh for sensitive people. I would recommend it to dry skin girls if they exfoliate and use a good water based moisturizer before. I have this foundation in the shade N4. The reason I enjoy MAC Foundations is because of their amazing shade variety for very light and dark shades.

This foundation is very high coverage, depending on how you apply it; when used with a beauty blender you can sheer it out and when used with a brush it is very high coverage. It applies very smoothly and is neither matte nor glowy. I highly enjoy this as I have normal skin and can mix it with oil or liquid highlighter if I want a more dewy look or can powder it if I want a matte look all day (however, then I find it a little drying for my skin).

When I first used it on a client,I have to admit I didn't like it. It covers everything,but it is looking heavy on anyone who has dry skin or big pores. After that I uset the same product on another client and it looked perfect. But she was a 20 year old girl with perfect skin.

The finish is more matte than dewy,but if you hydrate your skin and do a peeling before applying the foundation,you will have a nice finish and a long lasting foundation. Minus 1 star for the bottle that doesn't have a pump,nor a stick.
