How to connect game controllers to your Mac. Next, hold the PS button on the controller for a few seconds, then unplug the USB cable, and the controller should appear in the Bluetooth system preferences and be available for use in a number of games and programs. A Wii Remote can also be connected via Bluetooth.

Bought Mad Max now on Steam sale, and it's first game I had to hack around with xboxdrv to get my gamepad to work. All other games just used whatever configuration I set in steam big picture. I know it's frequent on Windows, because games are writen with xbox pad in mind, but I haven't experience this before on Linux. Any clue why is that? EDIT: I see lot of people writing here that it works with their logitech gamepads or steam controller. I probably should have worded the title Mad max working with xinput controllers only?, cause logitech gamepads also use xinput, and steam controller emulates keyboard and mouse from what I understand.

Sorry guys for confusion:) • • • • •. I suppose I could say I got it to work on my Steam controller, except I couldn't get the controller L. Joystick steering to work at the same time as the R. Pad trackball mouse camera --- which was useless in a car combat game. I played a part of the game with the Steam-controller-as-gamepad, but the sticks were just way too under-sensitive for my taste, even with their sensitivity cranked all the way up. I started the game over with my own K & M setup on the Steam controller that worked very well, I think.

How

I could get it to work on my Steam controller, except I couldn't get the controller L. Joystick steering to work at the same time as the trackball mouse camera --- which was useless in a car combat game. This is what I was saying. Mouse and controller input are mutually exclusive. I played a part of the game with the Steam-controller-as-gamepad, but the sticks were just too slow, even with their sensitivity cranked all the way up. You can get higher sensitivity by editing configuration files.

This will make the mouse-like joystick option work properly, but I was asking if there is a way to fix problem #1, as it would remove the need for any workarounds. Do you know of any workaround to make mad max accept controller+mouse input at the same time. Mouse and controller input are mutually exclusive. Ah, I didn't understand your usage of the word 'controller' to mean 'joystick' specifically, but as the general class of device upon which joysticks are typically found, a.k.a 'gamepad.' Sorry for the confusion. You can get higher sensitivity by editing configuration files. Which config files where?

If mouse-like joystick could be made to come even remotely close to the mouse proper. Well, that would be awesome news.

Inferior response time was really the only shortcoming I had playing Mad Max with Steam-controller-as-(Xbox tyle)-gamepad.:) • • • • •. Which config files where? If mouse-like joystick could be made to come even remotely close to the mouse proper.

Well, that would be awesome news. Inferior response time was really the only shortcoming I had playing Mad Max with Steam-controller-as-(Xbox tyle)-gamepad.:) It's a file called settings.ini somewhere deep within ~/.local/share/feral-interactive, the variables are called something like yaw and pitch by setting them to their maximum value and fiddling somewhat with the steam controller settings you can make it work somewhat right.

It's way better than the normal joystick but it's not quite the normal mouse input. Editing with imovie. That's the first thing I did, I got support request 6175 on 2016-12-12. I got a response from Gerard McAuley on 2016-12-13 helpfully telling me to use joystick mode with a relaxed response curve.
