Regardless of browser on my Mac (I'm using Chrome), if I'm not prompted to save a new login by 1Password, I can't find a way to 'prompt' 1Password to pop up and enroll a new user name and password for a new account I create. Or even if I just want to add a new login into 1Password from scratch, I can not identify where to choose to get this done. I selected the cog to the right of 'Search 1Password' and selected 'Save New Login' but that was unresponsive. Am I on the right track and it just doesn't work or is there another location I need to select to create a new login? 1Password Version: 6.1 Extension Version: 4.5.5.90 OS Version: OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 Sync Type: Dropbox Referrer: forum-search. Hi, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Save new Login option in 1Password mini! I don't know the exact steps you're taking, but here's how it should work: • Visit the sign-in page on a website.
• Link your Xbox Live account to an Epic Games account. • Download the Epic Games launcher on PC or Mac, or if you have an invite, download the game on iOS. • When you return to the game on Xbox One, set your Fortnite in-game “Game Privacy” setting to either “Public” or “Friends.” • Select Duos or Squad mode. Can i use an xbox controller on my mac for fortnite. • Add your friend from within the Epic Games Launcher, the game on PC or Mac, or the game on iOS. • Tell your friend to join your party.
• Enter your username and password, but do not submit the form. • Click the 1Password extension icon in your browser (or the 1Password mini icon in your Mac's menubar). Enter your Master Password if prompted. • Click the gear icon (to the right of the Search field), then select Save new Login from the menu.
If you follow those steps, 1Password should then offer to save a Login item as expected. If not, is it a problem on one specific site? Or on all sites that you've tried? I'm glad that helped,! If you want to create a new Login item for a sign-in form on a website, it's almost always better to do that through the 1Password browser extension (i.e. Allow 1Password to automatically prompt you to save a Login, or use the steps from my previous response). That allows 1Password to learn details about the form fields on that site, which helps it to fill that form again in the future.
If you manually create a Login item from the main app, it doesn't learn any specific details about the sign-in form on that website, and uses a different logic to try to fill the sign-in form. That often works, but isn't as reliable as if you save a Login via the extension. If you have more questions about that or need anything else, just let us know - we're always happy to help!
